Introducing: Doble Dividendo

From our colleagues at the UNDP:

Staff at the UNDP-UNEP Poverty-Environment Initiative’s Regional Program for Latin America and the Caribbean is proud to announce the release of our Spanish language blog, Doble Dividendo.

This blog aims to be a source of credible, up to date, and interesting information about poverty and environment issues, and about mainstreaming poverty-environment linkages into development in countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our intention is to promote integrated policies for environmental management and poverty reduction so as to maximize the impact per unit of public resources invested. Doble Dividendo hopes to provide relevant information about natural resource management, poverty reduction, adaptation to climate change, and other related topics.

And of course, the disclaimer:

Although we will express opinions and welcome debate in the comments section of the blog, the views expressed in the blog are those of the authors alone and do not represent the views of UNDP, UNEP, of any other UN agency, or the member states of the United Nations.
